The college admissions process can feel nerve-racking, overwhelming, and all-consuming, especially for busy families. This process can confound students whether their parent(s) graduated from college or they will be the first person in their family to attend a four-year college/university to attain a bachelor's degree. Should the student also be neurodiverse, the path to college admissions is compounded with a multitude of additional steps.
There is a better way.
Royal College Consulting delivers comprehensive college planning to high school students, neurodiverse students, and students planning to transfer to a four-year university. Our goal is to alleviate the stress that this complicated process can bring to students, and to increase family harmony. Our student-centered approach to college planning provides expert, individualized planning through every step of the process.
Our One-to-One service includes hours spent with the applicant and family getting to the heart of the student’s personality, interests, aspirations, qualifications, and accommodations used, if applicable. A successful admission begins when we learn as much as we can about the student, and then work to build a balanced list of colleges and universities that fit the student’s educational, social, professional, and personal goals.
The admissions process can be overwhelming. We serve as Team Captain always training, supporting, encouraging, and cheering on our students. We strive to make college planning a rewarding and positive experience.
College admissions involves a profusion of requirements, documentation, and deadlines. We keep our students organized and on schedule through regular interactions as well as our internet-based college planning tool.
Colleges and universities look beyond who will succeed academically to who will contribute to their campus community. We teach our students how to communicate their strengths and unique interests throughout the admission application.
experienced. Responsive. Compassionate.
Janice is the best college counselor I could have asked for. She is so incredibly intelligent and kind, and will walk you through the daunting college admissions process step by step. Applying for college is no walk in the park and she knows that, and she works constantly and tirelessly to make sure that her students have every resource they need & answers every question they may have. My favorite thing about Janice is how much time she puts into her work. She truly cares about her students, and will help them with anything & everything they may need. She goes above & beyond which can be so helpful during this stressful time. Janice’s bright spirit & positive attitude always made me look forward to our meetings together. I truly recommend Janice to everyone applying for college right now.
